What's new
User-visible changes to Dealtrail CRM, newest first.
November 2026#
- New name. CRM for Jira is now Dealtrail CRM.
- Jira Automation actions. Move deals, create a lead, add a note or create a task from a rule.
- CRM fields in JQL. Find work items by deal stage, owner, lead status or company, and use them in filters and boards.
- Drag and drop. Drag cards between columns on the Deals and Leads boards.
- New look. Grouped side menu, which you can collapse, and redesigned tiles and boards.
- CRM panel on work items. See and change a work item's linked records from Jira.
- Your own deal stages. Rename, reorder, add and remove the stages before Won and Lost.
- Custom fields on contacts, companies, deals and leads.
- My CRM follow-ups gadget for Jira dashboards.
- Links follow work items when one moves to another project or a project key changes.
- Faster Dashboard and Reports, worked out from a summary that shows when it was made.
- Closed Atlassian accounts are now removed from records automatically.
October 2026#
- Faster on larger sites. Each section loads only its own records, and long lists are shown 50 rows at a time. Sections are designed for up to 5,000 records.
- Security fixes. A linked work item's summary and status are read live as the viewer, and CSV exports are protected against spreadsheet formulas.
- Removed to make that possible: global search, Potential Duplicates, and the Revenue by Product, Revenue by Category, Deal Contacts by Product and Average Days per Stage reports.
September 2026#
- Stat tiles are filters. Click a tile on the Dashboard or above a list and the list narrows to exactly those rows.
- Report snapshot. A pasteable text summary of the period for a Jira comment, a Confluence page or a chat.
- Period comparison in Reports. Won value, deals won and lost, win rate and deals created against the period before.
- Saved views. Name the filters you use and bring them back with one click.
- Bulk actions. Assign owners, change stages, status, rating or priority, complete or delete many records at once.
- Deep links. Every record card has its own address you can paste into a Jira comment.
- Tasks, notes and timeline as tabs on every record card, laid out in two columns.
- Audit trail with before and after values. Edits now read like rating: Cold → Hot. The trail keeps the latest 500 entries.
- New quick filters: Unassigned and No Next Step on Deals, Do Not Contact on Contacts, Unused on Products.
- Merge duplicate contacts and companies.
- CSV import and export on every list.
- Global search across all sections, including notes.
- Jira work item links on leads, contacts, companies and deals.
- Deal and lead details: next step, close date, type, win probability and weighted pipeline, won and lost reasons, lead source and rating, stale flags.
- Company hierarchy (parent and subsidiaries) and contact reporting lines.
- Products catalogue with line items on leads and deals.
- Tasks with type, priority, due date and assignee.
- Dashboard and Reports.
August 2026#
- First version: contacts, companies and deals with a Kanban pipeline.
