Settings
The currency, the stale-deal threshold, your deal stages, custom fields and the data tools.
Workspace settings#
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Workspace Currency | USD, EUR, GBP, JPY or INR. It changes the symbol amounts are shown with, everywhere. It does not convert anything: an amount of 1,000 stays 1,000 and is simply shown in the new currency. |
| Stale Threshold (days) | How many days a deal can sit in a stage, or a lead in a status, before it is flagged stale. A whole number from 1 to 365. The default is 14. |
Press Save after changing a setting. Settings apply to everyone on the Jira site, so only a Jira administrator can change them; see Permissions and access.
Deal stages#
A Jira administrator can change the stages a deal moves through before it is won or lost:
- Rename a stage, or change its order with Up and Down.
- Set each stage's win probability.
- Press Add Stage to add one, up to 12.
- Press Remove to take one out. If deals are still in it, choose the stage they move to.
Press Save Stages to apply the changes. Deals in a removed stage move at that point, and the move is recorded on each deal's timeline. Won and Lost cannot be changed.
Custom fields#
Fields of your own on contacts, companies, deals and leads. See Custom fields.
Data administration#
For Jira administrators:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Export All Data | All your records as one CSV text, for a backup or to move data into another tool. |
| Load Sample Data | Adds a small example pipeline (companies, contacts, deals, leads, tasks and notes) so you can try every screen. It is added next to your own records, and loading it twice gives two copies. |
| Delete All Data | Removes every record, note and history entry. Type DELETE to confirm. Settings are kept. This cannot be undone. |
Data size#
Press Count Records to see how many records each section holds. Sections are designed for up to 5,000 records each; one near or over that is marked, because opening it gets slower. See how much data is comfortable.
Audit log#
Shows how many activity entries are kept right now, out of the 500 the app holds.
